Outside my window... dark, cold, dark, & cold. Did I mention cold?

I am thinking... about the books I have on reserve at the library and I'm wondering if they will be ready tomorrow. I hope so. I am anxious.

I am thankful for... slippers.

From the learning rooms... don't want to even think about it this week.

From the kitchen... lots of leftovers & LOTS of sweets.

I am wearing... gray sweats, purple short-sleeved tee, LONG zip front robe, & new gray slippers.

I am creating... NOTHING. No creating allowed this week. lol

I am going... to make some popcorn and turn up the heat.

I am reading... or should I say WILL BE reading Found & Family by Karen Kingsbury as soon as the library has my reserves.

I am hoping... the popcorn in the cupboard tastes okay since I'm out of my favorite kind.

I am hearing... Mark Schultz- Broken & Beautiful

One of my favorite things... Chase's smile

Praying for... My Uncle who hates his job, a lady named Susan who I don't even know but she has cancer and is close to my age with little kids, a man from church who lost his job,

A Lyric or Two...
Brandon Health- Your Love
I felt it first when I was younger
A strange connection to the lie
I tried to satisfy the hunger
I never got it right
I never got it right

So I climbed a mountain and l built an altar
Looked out as far as I could see
And everyday I’m getting older
I’m running outta dreams
I’m running outta dreams

But Your love Your love
The only the thing that matters is Your love
Your love is all I have to give
Your love is enough to light up the darkness
It’s Your love Your love
all I ever needed is Your love

You know the effort I have given
And you know exactly what it cost
And though my innocence was taken
Not everything is lost
Not everything is lost

But Your love Your love
The only the thing that matters is Your love
Your love is all I have to give
Your love is enough to light up the darkness
It’s Your love Your love
all I ever needed is Your love

You’re the hope in the morning
You’re the light when the night is falling
You’re the song when my heart is singing
it’s Your love
You’re the eyes to the blind man
You’re the feet to the lame men walking
You’re the sound of the people singing
It’s Your love

But Your love
Your love
The only the thing that matters is Your love
Your love is all I have to give
Your love is enough to light up the darkness
It’s Your love Your love
all I ever needed is Your love

A verse to share...
Joshua 1:8 Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

A picture thought...

Is it just me or is this boy one of the cutest you've ever seen? I LOVE this pic. Chase always wants to wear everyones shoes and I caught him in Abigail's room with her boots on. :) He is so sweet. I just can't get enough of him. His is a bundle of joy- seriously!

A few plans for the rest of the week... READ (I hope), Mike hunting tomorrow, go to Akron to visit Grandma Weakland, edit & post pics, PARTAY Friday,
relax. :) (Try to not think of school next week...)

Come on now... you know you want to do this too!!!

25 Days of Christmas: Days 14-22

So, I'm really far behind. :( It's hard to make myself post in a timely manner. Many times I'm just not in the mood. :)

Day 14
 Ethan's Turn

Forgot to take a pic of the card. We made ornaments with pony beads and pipe cleaners.

Day 15
 Ali's Turn!

My Maneki Neko wanted to share this one.

Big bite!

 Mike had a rootbeer float

 Yes!!! I had one, too.

Day 16

Blake's turn

Blake didn't really feel like playing so he sat in the room and wrote stuff.

Game of choice- SWIPE

 Day 17
 Ethan's turn- with messy hair

Since I had the camera with me and I forgot to get Abigail's out for Mike, there are no pics of the boys watching Frosty. :( Sorry, boys.

Ready to go. I put the sides of my hair back AND put on lipstick after this pic was taken.

All the Murphy gals- Me & my girls (Ali & Abigail), the BEST Mother-in-law, sister-in-law Kathy (aka. Dauntee to the kids), and sister-in-law Susan with her daughter Ryleigh. (Ryleigh didn't get to go along this year.)

The place where it all happened. :)

Day 18
 Abigail's turn

 One of the trees

LOTS of kids- cousins and friends

More cousins & friends

We sing the 12 days of Christmas as a group. You never know which number you will draw. This one was Mike's.

I had to leave early because Abigail was sick, but Alison was sure to win me a great BINGO prize. :)

Day 19
(this day had WAYYY too many pics. If you want to see more you'll have to visit my photo site once I've loaded & captioned them. This is just a snipet.)

Ali's turn

Some of the family sitting at the table for lunch

Grandpa was looking festive. :)

 Opening a few gifts

Two of my handsome men. :)

Musical entertainment by a wonderful nephew, Jakob

Met this little guy, Matthew, for the first time. He's so sweet.

Abigail spent a LOT of time playing the piano with Grandma & Aunt Mary. They were standing in this pic but they spent much more time actually sitting on the bench playing duets. :)

Chase playing with two cousins- Cece & Ryleigh

Mom Murphy made some tasty treats- I ate FOUR of those wedding cookies. YUMMY!!

Day 20
 Blake's turn

Here is a card Abigail wrote to our neighbor girl, Morgen. :) You might have to click on the card to read it better. Start with the pink M side.

Day 21
Ethan's turn

(didn't take REAL pics cause I was busy making a cake. Oops!! Mike watched the movie with them.)

Day 22
Ali's turn

 Game of Choice

Ethan looking excited. (We need some new family games)

Only three more days of the "25 Days of Christmas" to go. I'm feeling sad & also glad to see it coming to an end. Will do this next year for sure.
