Outside my window... FREEZING COLD!!!! (it's freezing INSIDE my window too. lol)
I am thinking... that I should really be frosting a cake or going to bed instead of blogging & HOPEFULLY finishing a book.
I am thankful for ... Maranatha Baptist Church- God's messages from Pastor Kenoyer, Godly women who encourage me without even knowing it, new friends, opportunities to serve, a great choir, spiritual growth for my entire immediate family, I could go on for a long time.
From the learning rooms... Flying creatures, OWL PELLETS, math, Ohio Heroes, the human body... and not much else since we are almost on Christmas break. YAY!!
From the kitchen... a chocolate cake and a white cake cooling in the kitchen for a wedding shower. A new recipe for meatballs that I'll be making for dinner tomorrow. Frosted (and sprinkled) sugar cookies that we took to awana tonight for Christmas caroling and then it got canceled because of cold weather.
I am wearing... lavender v-neck t-shirt and gray shorts. I just finished working out and I'm still hot. :)
I am creating... ideas on how to decorate my house with scripture.
I am going... to get myself a beverage, put on my arthritis gloves, and finish reading my book before bed.
I am reading... (finishing) Rejoice (K. Kingsbury) and starting Reunion (K. Kingsbury) tonight. :)
I am hoping... Mike's work gives him a bonus. A girl can dream, right???
I am hearing... a cheesy hallmark Christmas movie.
One of my favorite things... chocolate rice cakes.
Praying for... my hands (and now feet) to feel better, Chase to get over whatever illness he has, the joy of the season to stay with me,
A Lyric or Two...
Brandon Heath- Your Love
I felt it first when I was younger
A strange connection to the light
I tried to satisfy the hunger, I never got it right
I never got it right
So I climbed a mountain and built an altar
Looked out as far as I could see
And everyday I'm getting older, I'm running out of dreams
I'm running out of dreams
But your love, your love
The only thing that matters is
Your love, your love
Is all I have to give
Your love is enough to light up the darkness
It's your love, your love
All I ever needed is your love
You know the effort I have given
And you know exactly what it cost
And though my innocence was taken, not everything is lost
Not everything is lost, no
You're the hope in the morning
You're the light when the night is falling
You're the song when my heart is singing
It's your love
You're the eyes to the blind man
You're the feet to the lame man walking
You're the sound to the people singing
It's your love
Your love is all that I needed
All I ever needed is your love
All I ever needed is your love
Your love is all that I needed
All I ever needed is your love
Your love is all that I needed
It's all I ever needed
A verse to share...
Colossians 3:12-1712 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothes yourselves with compassion, kindness, humiltiy, gentleness, and patience.
13 Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.
14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
15 Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.
17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
A picture thought...
A few plans for the rest of the week... school, wedding shower, two cakes, asthma checkup for Abigail, church, choir practice, children's Christmas program practice, nephew's baptism, Christmas program.
An ornament from one of my BFFs from college- Stephanie. I think of her often but I think of her especially when I see this ornament that she gave to me. :)

Come on now... you know you want to do this too!!!
