Haiku

Today in history we were studying about when China invaded Korea. Korea got tough and kicked the Chinese out. Korea then became friends with Japan... just in case. And the story goes on.

The kids learned what a Haiku was. I knew Abigail would take to it but I was SHOCKED the both boys enjoed it also. We made sloppy copies and then copied it onto a new paper and illustrated them.

Blake's sloppy copy was neater than his final copy. In case you can't read his writing, his says:

SNOW
Cold days in the snow.
Icicles hang from our house.
It is fun to play.

Ethan's

Abigail's

Mine (was supposed to be helping Ali but she got in trouble and I worked alone.)
