Outside my window... VERY cold, snow & ice, & only 7 degrees.

I am thinking... how much I don't want to go out tomorrow with all of my kids but we MUST go shoe-shopping & stop at Hobby Lobby for a few items.

I am thankful for ... the joy of the Lord.

From the learning rooms... Math, Ohio Heroes, & Awana memorization. Only a few days before Christmas break.

From the kitchen... Snowflake cookies for the Christmas party at Awana tonight, Going to make either homemade noodles OR chili for dinner.

I am wearing... white pj pants with little pink flowers & a white long-sleeve tee

I am creating... an idea for an airplane cake.

I am going...to fall asleep if I don't quickly finish this blog and my next one.

I am reading... nothing at the moment. Waiting on reserves from the library. Finished the last two books from the Redemption Series. Cried my eyes out. :( Messed up my contacts.

I am hoping... the kids are good tomorrow and that we find the shoes we need

I am hearing... American Pickers on tv, the heater, MIKE SNORING.

One of my favorite things... green beans & onions

Praying for... Mike to get paid the money he is owed for a side job he finished 2 weeks ago. (People giving him the run-around.) I can't shop for another Christmas present without that money. :(

A Lyric or Two...
My sister, Brooke, wanted to hear me singing this song. I videoed myself with plans to use different pictures with only my SOUND. So, I didn't care what I looked like or what the background looked like. Well, don't you know that I can't seem to get the computer to do what I want it to do this time- I've done it before. Instead of scrapping it I decided to add annotations to it. It's fun for Brooke to read them while she's listening. Mike doesn't like it. Doesn't like the way I look or the background OR the fact that I'm making fun of myself. Still, it's a GREAT song. Enjoy. :)

A verse to share...
Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothes yourselves with compassion, kindness, humiltiy, gentleness, and patience.

A picture thought...
Went in to the boys' room to cover them up and Chase's bed was empty. I found him here, in Ethan's bed. :) So sweet. I love the relationship between my older kids and the younger kids.

A few plans for the rest of the week... shoe shopping, Hobby Lobby, Keepers (knotting/friendship bracelets), prayer group, choir practice, airplane cake, the Nutcracker, annual Calhoun Christmas party, Brown Family Christmas party.

Come on now... you know you want to do this too!!!

Oh Amy what a beautiful song. I haven't heard you sing in such a long time. Still as amazing as ever! Loving the 25 days of Christmas activities. Its really encouraging to teach your children to get excited over the small things (family time, ther reason for the season, etc)and not over the commercialization of the season. Love it girl!
