A New Day

Very strict on my "diet" yesterday and I'm feeling good today. Not feeling that bloated YUCKY feeling from yesterday. I'm back on track. I weighed myself today and I'm UP 4 pounds. :( Still down 7 from when I started my plan 6 weeks ago so that's encouraging. Not giving up. I don't want to just change the way I eat/move so that I lose weight. I want this to be a permanent change.

STILL unable to do my Tae Bo and running/jogging is totally out for now. :( I will see the surgeon again next week and will ask him when it's safe to do those things again. For now it just plain old HURTS to jerk my shoulder around. Eventually that pain will go away. You have NO IDEA how much I LONG to sleep on my left side.

Hoping to be down 5 pounds in the next few weeks. That is my first small goal. My realistic goal is to lose 34 pounds. My DREAM goal is to lose 54 pounds.

I can do everything through HIM who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13

Have you tried any Walk Away the Pounds DVDs? It's low-impact and based on walking, so I'm sure it's not as intense as what you were doing. Some of them use weights, but you can do them w/o weights to compensate for your shoulder. I have a couple if you want to borrow one, but you can get them from the library too.
