Days 1-4 of 25 Days of Christmas 2011

On November 30th  I prepared our envelope. I didn't have any black cardstock OR silver bows so I had to do it a little different this year. (Already planning something totally different for NEXT year!)

DAY 1
Ethan opened the card:

And it said:

Ethan spent the day at a friend's house so we were waiting for him to get home to do the activity. I, however, was going to have to go to church for a sound check for my solo so Mike was going to do the activity with the kids. Sadly, when Ethan returned home he had an accident and Mike ended up taking him to the urgent care.
Chipped a bone in his finger. :(

By the time we all got home it was way too late and we were forced to postpone our activity til the following day.

DAY 2
Blake opened it up:

And it said:

My sister, Dawn, called and asked if we'd keep the kids and since she had kept our kids several times that week while Mike was in the hospital we couldn't say no. The kids were excited to have two cousins here for our fun.

First we did the Day 1 activity:

Then, I wrote the names of several games onto papers, threw them into a bowl, and drew one name. The winner was Just Dance Kids.

DAY 3
Chase opened the card:

And it said:

After choir rehearsal at church we all loaded up and headed to Akron, OH for my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary surprise party.

First we ate at a restaurant:

Then we went back to my Aunt Linda's house for dessert, fellowship, & fun:

DAY 4
Abigail opened the card:

And it said:

After a very full Sunday we got home and got on our pjs and prepared for the movie.

 I got the movie ready...

and Dad got the popcorn ready. (Our favorite... Kroger Brand Kettle Corn)
